QueryCatch Shopify App

Install the QueryCatch app from the Shopify App Store to optimise products, collections, pages and blogs with AI — meta titles, descriptions, image alt text, keywords and on-brand posts, inside your Shopify admin.

QueryCatch Shopify App The QueryCatch Shopify app puts our AI SEO and content tools inside your Shopify admin. Optimise products, collections, pages and blog articles — and publish on-brand content — without leaving Shopify. Install it free from the Shopify App Store (apps.shopify.com/querycatch). Already subscribe to QueryCatch at querycatch.com? The app is included — activate complimentary access in one tap. Installing the app Open the QueryCatch listing on the Shopify App Store. Click Add app and approve the permissions Shopify shows you. The app opens inside your Shopify admin. Choose a plan, or activate free access if you already subscribe to QueryCatch. Set your brand voice and start optimising The app requests read and write access to products and content only — the same scopes the SEO tools need. It never asks for customer or order data. What's included AI Meta Data Optimiser — AI-rewritten meta titles and descriptions with character-count guidance and a SERP-style preview, across your live products, collections, pages and articles (draft, archived and unpublished items are skipped). Your last crawl is saved and shown instantly when you open the tool; it only re-crawls automatically when the saved results are over a day old, or when you click Refresh — so you're not re-crawling your whole store on every visit. Set a fixed title suffix (e.g. "| Your Brand") and reusable description snippets (e.g. "Free shipping over $99") in the Brand Voice Builder and the AI writes around them; bulk edit via CSV export/import with a mandatory review step (up to 20,000 rows per import; blank cells are ignored so nothing can be removed). AI Collections Optimiser — audits the body content of every published collection and AI-rewrites it, keyword-checked and on-brand. Each collection's name is used as its focus keyword and the audit grades the copy (optimised, missing the keyword, too short, or empty) into a 0–100 content score that feeds your SEO Health score. Your last crawl is saved and shown instantly when you open the tool; it only re-crawls automatically when the saved results are over a day old. Bulk edit via CSV export/import with a mandatory review step (up to 20,000 rows per import; blank cells are ignored so nothing can be removed). AI Image Optimiser — bulk [[gloss:alt-text|alt text]] on product and content images, written in your brand voice. Your last crawl is saved and shown instantly when you open the tool; it only re-crawls automatically when the saved results are over a day old, or when you click Refresh. Export and re-import alt text via CSV with a mandatory review step (up to 20,000 rows per import; blank cells are ignored so nothing can be removed). H1 Health (Essential) — crawls your published storefront pages on demand (a "Run audit" button) to find H1 heading problems: pages missing an H1, or with more than one. Filter by status, see your H1-health score and the change since your last audit, and open any page to fix it. Results stream into the table as the crawl runs and are saved with the last-audited date, so you only re-crawl when you want to; large storefronts are capped to keep audits fast. [[Orphan Pages]](/documentation/orphan-pages) (Essential) — crawls your storefront to map internal links, then lists published pages that nothing links to (orphans) so you can add a link and recover their visibility. Same layout as the other tools: an internal-linking score, a clickable Orphaned/Linked funnel, and a searchable table by page type. Results are HTML-crawl based, so they read as "likely orphaned, worth checking". Dashboard control centre — your SEO Health score plus a crawl tile per tool (Meta data, Collection content, Alt text, H1) showing its score and last-crawl date, each with its own "Run crawl" button, and a single "Run full site crawl" that runs them all in one go. Each tool is weighted into the overall SEO Health score — a tool you haven't crawled yet simply reweights out until you run it, so your score never drops just because a new check was added. Nothing crawls automatically — you stay in control of when each scan runs. Progress tracking — every completed crawl is saved, so the Meta Data and Image Optimisers show how each category moved since your last crawl, as a count and percentage: improvements (like missing meta data or missing alt text falling) in green, regressions in red. AI Blog Writer — pick a topic, get an editable brief (title, headings, sub-headings and meta description) whose headings you can reorder by dragging the handle or using the up/down arrows, then draft and publish on-brand posts straight to your Shopify blog; an opt-in TL;DR toggle opens the post with a concise answer block for answer-engine optimisation (AEO); publish instantly, save as a draft in your store's blog section, or schedule with any date (past dates backdate the post, future dates schedule it — up to 2 years ahead). [[Brand Voice Builder]](/documentation/embedded-brand-guidelines) — build a library of editable tone presets and custom tones, writer avatars, global do's and don'ts, exclusive brands and a writing style (first or third person), then assign a voice to each AI feature. [[Keywords]](/documentation/embedded-keywords) — the keywords your store ranks for in Google Search Console: current and average position, clicks, impressions and CTR, with CSV and branded-PDF export. Available on every plan with Google Search Console connected. (Keyword research from your catalogue and storefront now lives in the Blog Topic Generator, where it seeds topics.). [[Merchant Feed Analysis]](/documentation/merchant-feed-analysis) (Grow) — connect [[gloss:google-merchant-center|Google Merchant Center]] to audit your product feed: an overall feed-health score, an offer funnel (total → approved → in stock → targeted → impressions → clicks) and the issues dragging it down (disapprovals, missing attributes, weak titles, short descriptions) grouped into five sections. Filter products by issue, turn on Google's automatic item updates in one click, and fix titles and descriptions with on-brand AI — one product at a time or in bulk across a selection, with a review step before anything is written back to Merchant Center Plans and pricing Every plan includes a 7-day free trial and is billed securely through Shopify. You choose and manage your plan inside the app. Starter — $9.99/month: AI Image Optimiser (bulk alt text and coverage score) and AI Meta Data Optimiser for products, collections and pages. Essential — $29.99/month (most popular): everything in Starter, plus the Brand Voice Builder, the AI Blog Writer and Blog Topic Generator with keyword research (catalogue + on-site discovery), and the SEO audits — H1 health, broken links and orphan pages. Grow — $99.99/month: everything in Essential, plus the AI Product Content Optimiser (audit and rewrite every product description) and Merchant Feed Analysis (audit and bulk-fix your Google Merchant Center product feed) — for high-volume stores, with priority support Existing QueryCatch subscribers get the app free — activate the complimentary ($0) plan inside the app rather than choosing a paid tier. The app and the Connect-with-Shopify integration The embedded app and the standalone [[Connect with Shopify]](/documentation/shopify-integration) integration on querycatch.com both work on the same store. The app is the in-admin experience; the integration brings the same Shopify SEO data into your querycatch.com dashboard alongside your other websites, so you can manage everything in one place. If a tool ever says the Shopify connection needs renewing — usually after the app is reinstalled — click Reconnect Shopify and approve again. QueryCatch reuses a live access token for your store automatically where one exists, so the SEO tools keep working with the minimum of fuss. Troubleshooting App didn't open or shows a blank screen — reopen it from Apps in your Shopify admin. "Connection needs renewing" — click Reconnect Shopify and approve the permissions again. Content not appearing yet — the catalogue is scanned in batches and the scan is shared across the dashboard and tools, so large stores fill in progressively on the first load and other pages reuse it. Billing questions — your plan is managed by Shopify; review it under the app's billing screen Pro Tip: Set your brand voice first. Every meta title, description and blog post the app generates then inherits your tone automatically — no need to re-prompt for each item.
