Google Search Console Integration Google Search Console is the foundation of QueryCatch. This integration provides essential search performance data including queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position. Google Search Console integration is mandatory during onboarding. You cannot complete setup without connecting at least one verified property. Prerequisites Google account. Verified website in Google Search Console. Admin or Owner permissions for the Search Console property Connection Steps Click "Connect Google Search Console" button. Sign in to your Google account if prompted. Review and accept the permissions requested. Select "Allow" to grant QueryCatch access. Wait for redirect back to QueryCatch. Select your website from the dropdown list. Click "Save Selection" to complete Permissions Explained QueryCatch requests the following permissions: View Search Console data for your verified sites. View website performance in search results. Access search analytics data We only request read-only access. QueryCatch cannot modify your Search Console settings or data. Data Available After Connection Search queries and keywords. Click-through rates (CTR). Impressions and clicks. Average position in search results. Device-specific performance. Country and page-level data. Up to 16 months of historical data Troubleshooting Common Issues No Sites Available If no sites appear in the dropdown: Verify your website ownership in Google Search Console. Ensure you have admin/owner permissions. Try disconnecting and reconnecting. Check if the site is verified with the correct Google account Connection Failed If the connection fails: Clear your browser cookies and cache. Try using an incognito/private window. Ensure pop-ups are allowed for QueryCatch. Check if you're logged into the correct Google account Multi-Profile Setup For agencies managing multiple websites: Create separate profiles for each website. Connect Search Console individually per profile. Use the profile switcher to move between sites. Each profile maintains its own integration settings Best Practice: Name your profiles clearly (e.g., "Client Name - Website") for easy identification when managing multiple sites. Data Refresh and Limits Data refreshes every 24 hours automatically. Manual refresh available once per hour. Google provides data with a 2-3 day delay.
