AI Assistants (Claude and others)

Connect an AI assistant such as Claude to QueryCatch so it can read your search, analytics and SEO data and, if you allow it, improve your site's content for you.

AI Assistants You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude, to QueryCatch. Your assistant can then answer questions using your QueryCatch data ("which pages lost the most clicks this month?", "which products have no description?") and, if a profile admin allows it, make SEO improvements on your connected website or store, such as writing image alt text or meta descriptions. Every change is recorded and can be undone. AI assistant access is being rolled out gradually. If you don't see the AI assistants tab in Profile settings, it isn't available for your account yet. Turn it on for a profile Go to Profile settings → AI assistants. Only a profile admin can change the switches.. Switch on 'Allow AI assistant access'. Members of the profile can now connect an assistant and read this profile's data through it.. Optionally, switch on 'Allow AI assistants to make changes'. Only then can an admin's assistant change your connected website or store. While it is off, assistants can only read.. Once access is on, the address to connect to appears under the switches. Copy it. Connect your assistant In your assistant, add a custom connector (in Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector) and paste the address you copied.. Your assistant opens a QueryCatch page. Sign in if asked, read what the assistant will be able to do, and click Allow.. Ask your assistant something about your site. If more than one of your profiles has AI assistant access switched on, it will ask which one to use. The consent page shows the assistant's name as unverified and the address it will return to. Only allow assistants you trust and that you started connecting yourself, just now. What your assistant can do Read Google Search Console data: performance over time, top queries and pages, a query's trend, and sitemaps.. Read Google Analytics data: traffic overview, sessions by source, and event breakdowns.. See which integrations are connected.. Find images without alt text, and pages, products and collections whose meta titles, meta descriptions or descriptions need work, with the rules from your brand guidelines.. Read your saved site audits: H1 headings, broken links, orphan pages, structured data, the SEO report, page scores from the QueryCatch analyser, and your saved keyword lists.. With 'Allow AI assistants to make changes' on, and only for profile admins: add alt text to images that have none, set meta titles and descriptions (WordPress with Yoast, and Shopify), and set Shopify product and collection descriptions and collection fields.. For profile admins: start a storefront audit or refresh your keyword lists (Shopify stores), or run a PageSpeed test of your profile's website. These replace results saved in QueryCatch and change nothing on your website. Each has a daily limit. What your assistant cannot do Read data from a profile you don't belong to, or from one where an admin hasn't switched on AI assistant access. (It can see the names of all the profiles you belong to, so you can choose one.). Sign in to QueryCatch as you, or change billing, team members or connected integrations.. See your password or your connected Google, Shopify or WordPress credentials.. Publish blog posts or change page addresses.. Overwrite something a person has changed since the assistant last looked at it: it re-checks every item just before changing it. See and undo changes Profile admins can see the changes assistants made under Profile settings → AI assistants → AI changes (the 200 most recent): what changed, the old and new value, who asked for it and through which assistant. Undo puts the previous value back, but only if nobody has changed it since. Undoing a change needs an active plan. Change records are kept for 12 months. An assistant does what you ask, and can make changes you agreed to that turn out to be poor ones. Review its suggestions before you approve them, and use Undo if something isn't right. Disconnect To disconnect one assistant: Profile settings → AI assistants → Your connections → Revoke. It loses access straight away. You can also remove the connector in the assistant.. To stop all assistants using a profile: switch off 'Allow AI assistant access' for that profile. It takes effect on their next request.. If you leave a profile, or your role changes, assistants you connected lose that access on their next request. Your data When your assistant asks QueryCatch for data, QueryCatch sends only what that request needs, for profiles you can access, to the assistant you connected. From then on, that data is handled by your assistant's provider under your agreement with them. QueryCatch keeps a record of changes an assistant made (12 months) and of the connections you approved, and its server logs record which tools were used and when, without the content. See our Privacy Policy for details. Requirements An active QueryCatch plan for the profile (for everything except listing your profiles and connections).. An AI assistant that supports custom connectors (the Model Context Protocol), such as Claude.. For reading: the integrations the data comes from, such as Google Search Console or Google Analytics.. For changes: a connected WordPress site (with Yoast for meta titles and descriptions) or Shopify store.
