What does the QueryCatch Shopify app do?

It puts QueryCatch’s SEO and AI writing tools inside your Shopify admin: meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, product and collection copy, brand voice, blog topics and drafts, keyword research, and checks for headings, broken links, orphan pages, structured data and your Merchant Center feed.

Which parts of my store can it change?

Products, collections, pages and blog articles. It writes to Shopify’s own SEO fields, and to the metafields Shopify uses for page and article titles and descriptions, so changes show on your storefront without any theme edits.

How much does it cost?

The app is free to install. QueryCatch Pro is $99 a month after a 7-day free trial, billed through Shopify. If you already subscribe to QueryCatch at querycatch.com, the app is included at no extra cost.

Does it touch my theme or my customers’ data?

No theme edits, no injected scripts. The app asks for access to your products and content, which is what the SEO tools work on. It never asks for your customers or orders.

Can I use it with Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, as it rolls out. AI assistant access is arriving gradually: once the AI assistants section shows up in the app’s settings, switch it on and connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app that supports MCP. Letting it make changes is a separate switch. Your assistant shows you each change and asks first, and every change is logged in the app, where most can be undone in one click.

Do I have to leave Shopify to use it?
