Reports and Scheduled Reports

Make client-ready website reports from your Google Analytics and Search Console data, download them as PDFs, share them with a link, or have last month's report emailed to your team automatically.

Reports Intelligence → Reports turns your Google Analytics and Search Console figures into a report a business owner can read: the headline numbers, charts, top pages and searches, and plain-English notes on what changed. Check the notes, then download a PDF, share a link, or have last month's report emailed to people in your organisation every month. Reports need Google Analytics or Google Search Console connected to the profile. Admins can create, edit, share, schedule and delete reports. Viewers can open and download saved reports. Make a report Go to Intelligence → Reports.. Under New report, choose the kind of report: Monthly (one month, compared with the same month last year), Last 6 months, Year to date, Calendar year, Custom dates, or a Technical SEO snapshot of the pages in your sitemap.. Create it. QueryCatch fetches the figures, saves them with the report and writes notes in plain English.. Open the report to read and edit its notes, then download the PDF. Saved reports keep the numbers they were made with, so a report you send today still says the same thing next month. Bulk generate makes several reports at once and downloads their PDFs together as a ZIP. Report settings lets you choose the Google Analytics event that counts as an enquiry, such as a contact form completion, so reports show enquiries alongside traffic. Share a report Open a saved report and choose Share to create a link that works for 7, 30 or 90 days. Anyone with the link sees the report exactly as it was saved, without signing in. You can stop a link at any time, and deleting a report stops its link too. Scheduled reports A scheduled report emails last month's report, as a PDF, to the people you choose in your organisation on the same day every month. Each email shows the headline figures and has a View report button that opens the report in QueryCatch. Go to Intelligence → Reports and scroll to Scheduled reports. Only admins can create schedules.. Choose New schedule.. Pick the day of the month (from the 5th to the 28th) and your time zone. Reports go out at 8am on that day in that time zone. The earliest day is the 5th, because Google needs a few days to finish counting the month before.. Tick the people to send it to, then choose Create schedule. Each scheduled report is also saved in Saved reports, marked Scheduled, so you can open, share or download it later.. The notes in a scheduled report are written automatically by QueryCatch's built-in rules.. Only people in your organisation can be on the list. To send reports to a client, invite them under Profile settings → Team, then add them to the schedule.. Someone who leaves the organisation stops getting the report.. Admins can change, pause, turn back on or delete a schedule. Turning a schedule back on starts from the next send date; it doesn't send the months it missed. Deleting a schedule keeps the reports it already made.. An organisation can have up to 10 schedules, each sending to up to 20 people. Stop getting a scheduled report Anyone on a schedule can take themselves off it. Open Scheduled reports (the email's footer links to it) and choose Take me off. If you were the last person on the list, the schedule is paused until an admin adds someone. When a scheduled report isn't sent If a report can't be made or sent, for example because Google needs reconnecting or the organisation has no active subscription, Scheduled reports shows the reason under that schedule. QueryCatch tries again every 6 hours for up to 3 days, then waits for the next month. Nobody is sent the same report twice. Schedules set up with the old Schedule button on the Intelligence overview no longer send. That button now opens Scheduled reports, where you can set them up again.
