AI Collections Optimiser
Audit and rewrite the body content of every Shopify collection β focus-keyword checked and on-brand.
AI Collections Optimiser Collection pages are some of the highest-intent pages on a Shopify store, yet their body content is often empty or thin. The AI Collections Optimiser audits the body content of every published collection, scores it, and rewrites it as short, on-brand copy β grounded in the products the collection actually contains. This tool optimises a collection's body content (the description shown on the collection page). The AI Meta Data Optimiser handles each collection's SEO meta title and description β the two are complementary. The content audit For each collection, the optimiser derives a focus keyword from the collection slug (falling back to the title, which is the storefront H1), then checks how the body content measures up: π’ Optimised β enough content and the focus keyword appears in it. π‘ No keyword β enough content, but the focus keyword is missing. π‘ Too short β has content, but too thin to describe the collection. π΄ Missing β no body content at all Each collection gets a 0β100 content score, and the dashboard shows an overall score with a funnel you can click to filter the table β for example, to see only the collections that are missing content or missing the keyword. Focus keyword highlighting When you open a collection, the current body content is shown with every occurrence of the focus keyword highlighted in green, plus a count of how many times it appears. This makes it obvious at a glance whether the keyword is present and used naturally. Optimising content with AI Open a collection from the table. Review the current content and the keyword audit. Click 'Optimise with AI' to generate a short, on-brand description. Edit the draft if needed β the preview highlights the keyword as you go. Click 'Save to Shopify' to write the new content to the collection The AI writes a few sentences (around 40β80 words) describing the collection and the kinds of products it contains. It uses a sample of the collection's products as context, includes the focus keyword naturally, and follows your brand voice. If the collection already has content, the AI improves and rewrites it rather than starting from scratch. Tip: Assign a tone and writer persona to the AI Collections Optimiser in the Brand Voice Builder so every description sounds like your brand. Requirements A connected Shopify store. Write permission for products (write_products). Included with the same plan as the AI Meta Data Optimiser. Available inside the Shopify admin as an embedded app Best practices Keep collection copy short and specific β a few sentences is enough. Use the focus keyword once or twice, naturally β never keyword-stuff. Describe what makes the collection worth browsing, not just what's in it. Review the AI draft before saving β you always have the final say Saving replaces the collection's existing body content with your new copy. Review the draft in the preview before you save.Documentation
