Audit your feed.Optimise it. Ship it. Safely.
Connect Google Merchant Centre, see every product issue across 19 categories, generate brand-aware AI suggestions in bulk, and ship updates only after admin approval.
19 issue categories surfaced
Disapprovals, missing GTINs, short titles, duplicate titles, missing colour / age-group / gender / size, low-impression products, zero-click products — all flagged in one report.
AI suggestions, brand-aware
For products missing copy or attributes, generate titles, descriptions and missing fields with one click. Suggestions respect your AI Brand Guidelines for tone and rules.
Approval-gated by default
Merchant Centre product edits flow through the Approvals system and require admin sign-off. Live commerce data stays under editorial control.
Six categories of issue, nineteen specific checks
Each product is graded across approval state, structured data, copy quality, missing attributes, image quality and performance.
Disapproval & policy issues
Products disapproved at country level, plus the underlying policy reason — so you know exactly what to fix to get back on shelf.
Missing GTIN, brand or category
The structured-data gaps that quietly limit reach. Surfaced per product so you can fix them in batch instead of one by one.
Title & description quality
Short titles, short descriptions, duplicate titles across SKUs — the copy issues that depress CTR and crowd you out of search.
Missing attributes
Colour, age group, gender, sizes, product type — fields Google ranks on. Detect missing values and let AI propose them where reasonable.
Image gaps
Products with no additional images, no highlights or thin imagery — the kind of feed quality signal that drags impressions.
Low impressions or zero clicks
Performance signals folded into the same audit so optimisation effort goes where it actually moves traffic, not where it just looks tidy.
Connect, audit, optimise, approve, ship
The whole loop sits inside QueryCatch — no exporting CSVs, no editing feeds in spreadsheets, no waiting on a developer.
Connect Google Merchant Centre
OAuth into your linked Merchant Centre account. QueryCatch reads products, statuses, performance and account settings — never the other way until you approve a write.
See the feed-level score
A 0-to-100 feed health score plus a five-stage funnel: products → approved → targeted → impressions → clicks. Five sub-scores tell you where the leak is.
Generate AI suggestions per product or in bulk
Optimise a single product in a side sheet, or kick off a batch run that streams AI suggestions across many products at once. Suggestions are brand-aware and ranked by priority.
Send for approval, then ship
Stage the changes, request admin approval, and once approved push the update straight to Merchant Centre. Audit trail stays attached to every product change.
Manual feed clean-up vs in-app AI + approvals
Most teams audit feeds in spreadsheets and write product copy by hand. Here's what changes when the audit, the AI and the approval all live in one place.
Spreadsheet + manual copy
- Issue list exported as CSV, gets stale within hours
- Copy written by hand, brand voice drifts between writers
- No clear approval step — anyone can push to Merchant Centre
- No record of what changed, by whom, or when
- Bulk operations are find-and-replace, not strategy
QueryCatch Merchant Feed Analysis
- Live audit pulled from Merchant Centre on every run
- AI copy that reflects your Brand Guidelines, every time
- Admin approval required before any product update ships
- Audit trail attached to every product change automatically
- Batch AI optimisation across many products in one pass
Built for the people running the feed
Whether you’re a solo merchant or an agency with twenty Shopping clients.
E-commerce brands managing a catalogue
Stop emailing spreadsheets to the marketing team and waiting for someone to fix product copy in chunks. Audit the feed, queue AI suggestions, get sign-off, ship.
Agencies running paid Shopping for clients
Walk into a quarterly review with a feed score, a funnel chart, the top recommendations, and a record of every change you’ve already shipped. Demonstrably moves the needle.
Solo merchants on Google Shopping
You don’t have a copywriter. You also have hundreds of products. AI suggestions plus the approval gate let you batch-optimise without losing control of what goes live.
Tied into Approvals + Brand Guidelines
Merchant Centre product edits route through the Approvals workflow and consume your AI Brand Guidelines. Set up both once at the workspace level and every Merchant Feed change inherits them automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Honest answers about what the Merchant Feed Analysis actually does.
Does it actually pull live data from Google Merchant Centre?
Yes. After you connect via OAuth, QueryCatch reads your products, their per-country approval statuses, performance metrics (impressions, clicks) and account settings directly from the Merchant Centre API every time you run the audit. Nothing is mocked or hard-coded.
What issue categories does it detect?
Nineteen categories spanning four buckets: approval / policy issues (disapprovals, country-level rejections), structured-data gaps (missing GTIN, brand, product type), copy quality (short titles, short descriptions, duplicate titles), missing attributes (colour, age group, gender, sizes), image gaps (no additional images, no highlights), and performance signals (low impressions, zero clicks, out of stock).
How does the AI optimisation work?
For products missing or under-strength copy and attributes, you can generate AI suggestions field by field, in a single product side sheet, or in batch across many products at once. Suggestions respect your AI Brand Guidelines so the output sounds like your brand — and they go through the Approvals system before anything is written back to Merchant Centre.
Why do edits need admin approval?
Because Merchant Centre data is live commerce. A bad title or wrong size attribute can disapprove a SKU or hurt impressions until someone notices. Routing every product change through admin approval keeps the audit trail clean and stops accidental edits from going to Google.
Does it cover Shopify product feeds too?
Today the Merchant Feed Analysis tool reads from Google Merchant Centre directly, not from Shopify. If your Shopify catalogue is already syncing to Merchant Centre (the most common Shopping setup), QueryCatch picks up that data via Merchant Centre. Native Shopify-side product audits are handled separately by our Shopify integration for meta titles and descriptions.
How is feed health scored?
A 0-to-100 score weighted across five sub-scores: how many of your products are loaded, how many are approved, how many are actually targeted to a country, how many earn impressions, and how many earn clicks. The five-stage funnel makes it obvious which step is leaking.
Can I filter and sort the product list?
Yes. Multi-flag filtering — combine any of the 19 issue categories — plus performance sort lets you focus on the highest-impact subset (e.g. "disapproved AND missing GTIN" or "approved AND zero clicks last 30 days") rather than scrolling through a flat catalogue.
How does the AI Brand Guidelines voice apply here?
Every AI suggestion for product titles, descriptions and inferred attributes is generated against your Brand Guidelines (tone, do’s, don’ts, brand notes). Set the rules once at the workspace level and your product copy stays consistent with the rest of your AI-generated output across QueryCatch.
