What Is On-Page SEO?

Think of it as a building inspector with a clipboard.

An inspector walks every room with the same checklist and hands you one list at the end: this room’s fine, that one needs a smoke alarm.

Page Optimisation does that for every page on your site. Same checklist, every page, worst rooms first.

How Page Optimisation Works

Half an hour. Weakest page, fixed.

A Monday morning at Harbour Physio, an example physiotherapy clinic on WordPress. Here’s Page Optimisation doing the work, step by step.

  1. Step 1 · 8:30 am

    Every page gets a score.

QueryCatch checks each page of your site against the same list of on-page basics and scores it out of 100. Your whole site gets a score too.

  2. Step 2 · 8:31 am

    Worst first.

Sort by score and the pages that need you float to the top. Everything else can wait.

  3. Step 3 · 8:32 am

    It tells you exactly why.

Open a page and every check is graded in plain English: title, description, headings, word count, images, links, schema, canonical and social cards.

  4. Step 4 · 8:50 am

    Fix it. Watch it climb.

Write the description in the meta tool, add alt text in the image tool, tidy the headings. The next time the page is checked, the score moves.

  5. Step 5 · 8:58 am

    Pass it on.

Download any page’s audit as a PDF and send it to whoever writes the words, or to the boss.

Frequently asked questions

The quick answers.

What does Page Optimisation check?

The on-page basics, on every page: title and description length, heading structure, word count, internal and external links, image alt text, schema markup, canonical and robots tags, and Open Graph and Twitter card data.

How does the score work?

Each page gets a score out of 100 based on those checks, and your site gets an overall score too. Pages scoring 80 or more are excellent, 60 to 79 are good, and under 60 need work.

How does QueryCatch see my pages?

You add the small QueryCatch SEO Analyzer script to your site once. From then on, pages are checked as people visit them. A profile admin manages the connection, and everyone on the profile can read the results.

Does it fix the problems for me?

It finds and explains them. You fix them with QueryCatch’s meta title, meta description and image tools, or by asking your AI assistant through QueryCatch MCP, and the score updates the next time the page is checked.

Can I share the results?

Yes. Every page’s audit can be downloaded as a PDF report, ready to send to your team or a client.
